bumble bee vase
This wheel-thrown vase has been made using a red clay and glazed with a glossy white glaze. It features a decal of my lino-printed image of a bumble bee.
The inside and outer surface has been dipped in a glossy white glaze. The underside and bottom edge has been left unglazed, giving a lovely contrast of textures and colours between the glaze and the raw clay body.
Dimensions (approx.): width at mouth: 4cm, height: 11.5cm, width at base: 8.5cm
